Full time Buyer wanted: you keep us moving

Buyer

You keep us moving

Without procurement, there is no stand. You are the key person who ensures that every project has the right materials at the right time, at the best possible price and with the level of quality our customers expect from us. You work independently, think in solutions and collaborate closely with our sales, production and logistics teams to make sure everything runs smoothly.

No two days are the same. One day you are negotiating with suppliers, the next you are acting quickly to meet a tight deadline. Just the way you like it.

You are...
  • A team player who is also perfectly comfortable working independently
  • Someone who takes initiative instead of waiting for things to happen
  • Results driven and able to stay focused when things get busy
  • Flexible: you switch effortlessly between different priorities

What you bring
  • MBO+ or HBO level of working and thinking
  • Preferably more than 5 years of experience as a buyer or in a similar role
  • A good instinct for materials, combined with a sharp and analytical eye
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • The flexibility to switch quickly between different projects and priorities
  • Can you speak and write English and German? Even better!
  • Experience in exhibition stand construction is a plus, but not a requirement

What we offer
  • You will be joining a successful organisation with 70 years of experience and an excellent reputation
  • Salary and allowances are arranged in accordance with the Collective Labour Agreement for Exhibition Construction, ranging from € 3,236 to € 4,584 per month, depending on your knowledge and experience. An entry scale may apply, while there are also opportunities to progress, based on a 38 hour working week.
  • An ambitious, international team where you can make a real impact
  • Short lines of communication and no unnecessary fuss
  • Pension scheme
  • You will start with a temporary contract, with the prospect of a permanent position
  • A 38 hour working week, with Fridays until 2:45 pm
  • Travel allowance
  • Excellent additional benefits, including fresh fruit at work, chair massages, company events, discounted sports activities through benVitaal and a bicycle lease scheme
